Hoist Your Sail: Week 9

Hoist your Sail # 9

Are the chirping birds beginning to wake you up in the mornings?  It is still cold outside, but the birds singing promises that Spring is on its way.  We are three Sundays away from Easter.  As we gear up for a joyful celebration on Easter, I wanted to spend some time today encouraging you.

Ephesians 6:10 “ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Take courage today that the Lord can be strong through you. Whatever you’re facing, remember that you can run to the Lord, climb in His lap and rest in His strength.  Ask Him what he’s doing in your life and the lives of your kids and join Him there today. A great place to start is to ask your kids what God is saying to them or what God is teaching them about Himself.

Last week your kids heard the story of the earthquake in Paul's second journey from Acts 16:11-34.  Many of the elementary school kids asked questions about baptism.

We will be doing Baptisms on Easter!

If your kid is expressing interest and you have questions feel free to contact me at: deborah.rowe@aseattlechurch.com

Read ahead:  Paul preached in Europe from Acts 17:16-34.
