“The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.”
Psalms 29:4 ESV
Do you know God’s voice? Does he speak to you? Do you give Him space in your daily life to speak to you? I challenge you this week to give Him space to speak to you. Maybe it’s meditating on His Word, maybe it is at the gym, or at your home in your normal routine. Ask Him to speak to you. I would like to know what he says to you. Share also with your ASC group or circle of Christian friends. My prayer for you this week is that you hear His voice and believe what He says about you.
“And the people said to Joshua, “The Lord our God we will serve, and his voice we will obey."”
Joshua 24:24 ESV
On Sunday, your kids heard the story of Peter visiting Cornelius from Acts 10.
God revealed to Peter through a vision that the gospel is not just for Jews but also for gentiles. Your kids were challenged to spend time with God by reading the Bible this week. They were challenged to give God time and space to speak to them this week. Ask your kids what God said to them. Share with them what He has said to you. Pray for them that they hear His voice above all the others clamoring for their attention.
Look ahead: Next week your kids will learn the story of Paul’s Conversion and Baptism from Acts 9:1-25. Take some time to review this story with them before Sunday.
