My Heart's Cry

Matthew 22: 37-38 says, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all of your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."

My hearts cry is first for us as parents to: "love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all of your mind." We can't teach what we don't know. In the midst of all of your busyness my prayer is that you find time each day to spend with the Lord, reading His Word and praying. If you need a place to start, start with reading however many verses you are old. If you're 20, read 20 verse a day.

Read and then pray for the Lord to speak to you. Ask the Holy Spirit what God is doing in your life and jot down what He says.

Remember, God is the one doing the work in your life.

I'm praying for you this week that you hoist the sail up far and wide and catch His wind moving in and through your life.
